"Over the last couple of days AAFD personnel had the opportunity to attend workshops put on by Dr. Armin McCrea Dastur for ‘Building Awareness & Skills for Mental Toughness & Resilience.’ Originating from IAFF 693’s Health and Safety committee, the focus of these workshops were on recognizing and managing stress in the firehouse and all aspects of life. The feedback for this was overwhelmingly positive! Dr. Armin was adopted as one of our own over the last couple of days and got a full dose of AAFD culture!"
